ACHARI PANEER TIKKA RECIPE
Paneer Achari Tikka recipe is a customized Tikka recipe for vegetarians from Chicken Tikka or Achari Murg Tikka recipe. Usually the tikka recipe is prepared in a tandoor oven, but tawa or tava is used in this recipe.

However, the recipe preparation for Achari Paneer Tikka is extremely simple, but some tips for an ideal recipe. First of all, I have used homemade fresh cheese which is generally fresh and soft and is ideal for a tikka recipe.
If you plan to use store-bought cheese, try using fresh and soft cheese for this recipe. Secondly, I have used masala powder which defines achari masala. To skip these troubles, you can use Indian pickle masala or mango pickle masala bought directly from any shop . Finally, I have used tava to grill the cheese, but it can also be grilled in an oven or a convection oven.

Ingrediant:
1 cup thick curd , fresh
1 tsp mustard powder / mustard powder
1½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp fennel powder
4 tsp cumin powder
½ tsp garam masala
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
4 tsp fenugreek powder
4 tsp parsley
2 tablespoons mustard oil / any cooking oil
½ tsp Kasuri methi
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt , as per taste
1 capsicum , cube shaped
½ medium sized onion , petals
9 cubes cheese
3 T spoon oil , for frying
Method:
1.First of all, take thick fresh curd in a large mixing bowl or use a hung curd.
2.Add 1 tsp mustard powder, 1.5 tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp fennel powder, ¼ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp garam masala, ¼ tsp fenugreek powder, ¼ tsp Ajwain and ½ tsp kasoori methi.
3.Add ginger garlic paste as well.
4.Also add 2 tablespoons of mustard oil or any cooking oil.
5.Now add lemon juice.
6.Also add salt to taste.
7.Whisk smooth and make sure that the spices mix well with the curd.
8.Now add capsicum, onion and cheese / cottage cheese.
9.Mix the cheese gently without breaking it.
10.Next, refrigerate to cover and marinate for 1 hour or more.
11.Place marinated cheese, capsicum and onion on top of the pan and fry the pan. Alternatively, fry in the oven or in the oven.
12.Fry the tikkis on medium flame with oil as required.
13.Now add the marinated cheese, capsicum and onion to the wooden skewer.
14.Garnish with the remaining tikka sauce as well.
15.Finally, serve Achari Paneer Tikka with green chutney and some salads.
