Chilli Gobi Recipe

                                        Chilli Gobi Recipe

A spicy starter or appetizer recipe is adapted from Chinese cuisine and spice techniques. Probably one of the most popular Indian street food or fast food, which is served from the Indo Chinese cuisine palette.Like any other Indo Chinese recipe, even Gobi Chilli recipe has two types, dry and gravy recipe. It is a dry version of Gobi Chilli and is an ideal party starter or also served as a side dish. This recipe is similar to the characteristics of Cabbage Manchurian, but is more toward spicy with chili.

Chilli Gobi recipe is very simple, has very few ingredients and is similar to Gobi Manchurian recipe. So the main ingredients for this recipe are Gobi or Cauliflower, Corn Flour, Flour, Capsicum and Chilli Sauce. Initially, corn flour and all-purpose flour are used to make a thin batter in which the gobi flowers are dipped and deep-fried to prepare crispy gobi fritters. Corn floor fritters are added to make it crisp and hold the shape. These fritters are then fried and fried in chilli + tomato ketchup sauce with onions and capsicum petals. Finally it is garnished with green onions and served immediately.

Although this recipe is very simple, there are some suggestions for the Spicy Chilli Gobi Recipe . First of all, if you are planning to prepare for children, make sure to lower the spice level by using less chilli sauce and green chillies. Secondly, always use fresh gobi or cauliflower for Gobi Chilli or Manchurian recipe, otherwise the end result may be wet and less crisp. Finally, I have not added Ajinomoto (MSI) to this recipe , although you are welcome to add it. It is basically added to enhance flavor and is very common in Indo Chinese cuisine.
