                     Garlic Flavoured Yogurt Recipe



    This recipe is very easy and effective recipe to prepare within minutes. moreover, this recipe has lot of garlic and hence it is very good for digestion. certainly this is a perfect meal starter recipe for all the rice lovers. you can prepare the same recipe with different ingredients like bhindi, pomegranate, left over coconut chutney.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 6-7 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup curd
  • 2-3 tsp water
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp jeera / cumin seeds
  • 2 red chilli
  • 3-4 curry leaves
  • Pinch of asafoetida / hing
  • Salt to taste


INSTRUCTIONS:

1.Whisk the curd adding 2-3 tsp of water along with salt to get uniform consistency.

2.Cut the garlic into small pieces.

3.Heat the pan, add 1 spoon ghee, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida / hing, curry leaves, red chilli and garlic.

4.Fry it for few seconds till the mustard seed splutter and the garlic turns crispy and golden brown.

5.Transfer the seasonings to the curd.

6.Serve it along with hot steamed rice.

Notes:

1.Use fresh curd. sour curd doesn’t taste good.
2.Fry the garlic on medium flame, do not burn them.
